About Event

A closed-door roundtable for the people trying to make technology teams actually work.

There’s plenty of advice about tech leadership. There are fewer opportunities to compare notes with people actually doing it.

Architecture, delivery, hiring, process, people, priorities — there’s rarely one right answer, and even experienced technology leaders benefit from hearing how their peers approach the same challenges.

As part of Belfast Tech Week 2026, Group Therapy is a small, confidential roundtable for people responsible for technology teams to compare notes, ask the questions they don’t always get the chance to ask, and learn from the experience of others in the room.

No presentations. No panel. No performative success stories.

Bring something that’s difficult, messy or unresolved. We’ll compare notes, challenge assumptions, share experiences and see what the room can help you untangle.

This is a private session, held under the Chatham House Rule: Participants are free to use the information received, but neither the identity nor the affiliation of the speaker(s), nor that of any other participant, may be revealed outside the meeting.

Ideal for: Tech Leads, Tech Founders, Scrum Masters and anyone who has a role leading a team that delivers technology.
Places are strictly limited and we will prioritise participants whose roles are relevant. We encourage you to participate whether you're a seasoned pro or a complete beginner in the field.

This event is part of #BelfastTechWeek - a week of events curated by the tech community, for the tech community.
