Jesus College Sustainable Gardens Tour

​Join Lee, the Head of Grounds and Gardens at Jesus College, for a tour of the gardens and information about our sustainable grounds projects including the innovative tapestry lawn, the selection of trees and plants to support air quality and resistance to drought and disease, and our biodiversity-promoting nature trail which is home to numerous birds, foxes, badgers, and even a deer! Learn more about the possibilities and challenges of upcoming plans for further garden sustainability projects, as well as some ideas you can incorporate into your own gardens to support environmental health.  

​After the tour there will be the opportunity to participate in guided gardening activities for those wanting to put their green fingers to use! No experience or expertise required, all information and equipment will be provided. 

​The tour will take place outside around the grounds of Jesus College including on uneven and unpaved areas, appropriate footwear and attire for the weather on the day is recommended. In the event of high winds or heavy rain the tour will be cancelled.

​Time & Date: 12:30-13:30 Thursday 19th March (13:30-14:30pm for those who wish to stay for gardening after the tour)
