About Event

This is not a test.
This is not a competition.
This is good bird fun.

Join us for OUR THIRD-EVER delightfully curious Bird Scavenger Hunt inside The Met, where art, birds, and community collide in the best way possible.

✨ How It Works

  • Everyone will be paired with a group — no one will be left alone (promise 🫶)

  • Each group will receive hints for birds found in art that appear throughout the Met

  • Your mission? Wander one designated section of the museum and try to spot them together

  • Some birds will be obvious. Some will be sneaky. Some you might think you see… and get totally wrong — and that’s part of the joy!!

This quirky experience is about curiosity, collaboration, and play, not perfection.

You don’t need to know anything about birds.
You don’t need to know anything about art.
You just need to show up open-hearted and ready to explore.

🌈 Who This Is For

  • 🐣 New to birds? This event is for you

  • 🖼️ Love art? This event is for you

  • 🤝 Want to meet new people in a low-pressure, playful way? For you

  • 💡 Maybe meet a future friend, collaborator, or cofounder? Also… very possible

My social experiences are what you make of them — so come ready to be kind, curious, and your most authentic self.

💛 Why I'm Hosting This Event

Birds teach us how to observe, slow down, and stay curious — even when we don’t have all the answers. This scavenger hunt is a reminder that:

  • Learning can (and should!) be joyful

  • Getting things wrong can still be fun

  • Community makes everything better

Expect laughter, wandering, “WAIT I THINK THAT’S IT,” and lots of tiny moments of delight.
