Artist Line-Up:
Sophie Wright (8pm): Sophie Wright is a folk singer-songwriter based in London whose evocative voice and lyrical songs bring together storytelling and powerful musical intuition. Inspired by the cliffs and shoreline of her childhood she weaves the natural world into her music with a timeless and moving grace. She’s passionate about creating accessible live music experiences, growing up with a mother with profound hearing loss, she has much lived experience navigating life to accommodate the challenges her mother faced in order to enjoy social experiences fully. She’s delighted to perform a gig that her mother, and others with noise sensitivities, will be able to enjoy without any additional modifications required.
Adam Beattie (9pm): Scottish singer-songwriter and finger-style guitarist Adam Beattie combines his roots in traditional melodies with his distinctive voice and narrative lyrics. Fresh off the heels of his critically acclaimed album of "uplifting reveries of love and romantic balladry" (Mojo Magazine), Beattie will play songs from his forthcoming album ‘Home Fires Burning’, a home-spun epic exploring family and belonging, set to melodies evocative of the fiddle tunes he grew up playing.
