ICMA AI Happy Hour
Join us for drinks, snacks, and chats after Tuesday's sessions wrap up. Sponsored by Edwin, Holly, GovPilot and Starbridge, this is your chance to relax, network, and learn how artificial intelligence can support your work.
Location: RISU, walking distance from the conference center
About Edwin: Edwin is on a mission to make public money work harder. We are building the financial operating system purpose-built for local governments, bringing treasury management, automated bank reconciliation, compliance, and reporting into one platform. Finance teams using Edwin close the books faster, cut costs, and earn new revenue without raising taxes. Edwin was built and founded by people working at the intersection of cutting-edge financial infrastructure and the public sector, on the belief that public finance teams deserve tools that match or beat what the private sector already runs on.
About Holly: Holly is on a mission to empower the public sector with the workforce it deserves. Our dream is a future where public sector HR professionals can focus on serving people, not managing paperwork and where governments are fully staffed and well-equipped with the best talent in the workforce. Our AI-powered classification, compensation, and labor relations platform works to do just that, ensuring local government HR teams stay competitive in talent markets and are able to lead effective, data-informed negotiations. Founded by Brendan Hellweg and Cherie Chung in 2024, Holly was built by people who know the public sector inside-and-out, from first-hand experience and thousands (and counting!) of conversations.
About Starbridge: Starbridge is the AI GTM platform for companies selling to the public-sector. We believe public institutions deserve better technology at fair market prices, and we enable this by helping GovTech vendors spot opportunities, prioritize accounts, and close deals.
About GovPilot: When local government departments run their own siloed systems, no one has the full picture. A permit gets issued without recognizing an open code violation. An inspection gets scheduled without seeing the pending stormwater complaint. GovPilot eliminates these blind spots by putting 125+ municipal functions on a single workflow management platform with a shared view of properties, assets, and workflows across departments. Staff configure the platform to match the way they actually work, and implementation takes weeks, not months.
