Dr. Bernard (Won-Sik) Kim is a results-driven Managing Director of Global Sales and Marketing with nearly 20 years of experience in the molecular diagnostics and biotechnology sectors. He is uniquely recognized for his ability to blend deep scientific R&D expertise with high-level executive management. Throughout his career, he has focused on scaling innovative diagnostic solutions and leading high-performing global teams to deliver sustainable growth.

​Dr. Kim holds a Ph.D. (Summa Cum Laude) from Ruprecht-Karls-Heidelberg Universität, Germany, and completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Cornell University. Prior to joining Norgen Biotek, he served as Senior Vice President and Head of the Research Center at Seegene, a human diagnostics company. His leadership style is rooted in a culture of mentorship, strategic vision, and a relentless drive for excellence.
