This panel explores our relationship with childhood, toys, and play through personal stories and experiences from Gaza. From the toys we loved, gave away, or were forced to leave behind, to the games children create when no toys or safe spaces are available, the conversation reflects on how the genocide and displacement reshape the meaning of play. It also looks at memory, imagination, loss, and children’s right to play, asking what happens to childhood when toys disappear.
