Smart Stormwater: Climate Solutions for Your Landscape
What if your landscape could slow, sink, and store rainwater instead of sending it rushing away as runoff?
As part of Atlanta Climate Week, join Wylde Center on October 13 from 6:30–8:30 PM for an evening of connection and practical climate solutions with Brandy Hall, founder of Shades of Green Permaculture.
We’ll begin with an hour of casual networking and mingling, creating space to meet neighbors, gardeners, environmentalists, and others interested in building a more resilient Atlanta. Then, Brandy will share her Smart Stormwater talk, exploring how we can treat water as a resource rather than a runoff problem.
Learn how permaculture-based landscape strategies can help manage stormwater, restore soil health, support native ecosystems, and create healthier, more resilient landscapes. Whether you’re looking for ideas to put into practice in your own yard or simply want to better understand how landscapes can respond to a changing climate, this evening will offer practical inspiration and plenty of opportunities to connect.
Come meet people, learn something new, and rethink what happens when it rains.
