Regulating 3D Printing - Hearing Action Plan
Join those taking on the bill AB 2047 that aims to regulate 3D Printing.
After a day of meetings in Sacramento with Senate Judiciary offices, David Tobin will be hosting a live debriefing session and update for the hearing on this Tuesday, June 23rd.
AB2047 would require every 3D printer sold in California to run a DOJ state-certified "detection algorithm" - a technology that can not reliably exist. If passed, it would pull a tool used in thousands of schools, libraries, labs, and small businesses out from under our communities.
