Join us for a thought-provoking LeadHER event on exploring liberation, healing, and empowerment for Black womxn beyond the confines of the “strong Black womxn” archetype. We’ll gather with panelists to explore how resistance can manifest through rest, the refusal of harmful expectations, and the reclamation of joy, softness, and self-defined narratives.

This event will delve into questions such as: What does rest as a form of resistance look like in practice? How can saying “no” be an act of radical self-care and collective liberation? And in what ways can Black womxn, and those who support them, reclaim narratives, spaces, and practices that honor vulnerability, humanity, and wholeness?

Panelists will share stories, strategies, and resources that encourage moving beyond traditional expectations and foster histories and futures grounded in intersectional healing. Whether you identify with this experience or want to be a better ally, we welcome you to join this vital conversation.

Come to learn, reflect, and connect as we reimagine what thriving outside the constraints of relentless strength can mean for Black womxn and our communities.
