We've partnered with multiple game developers from Sweden, USA and India to bring to you a curated collection of games focused on a variety of facets of climate change you wouldn't have ever thought of they way these developers have!
Event Details
We're gamifying climate change.
Climate change is a complex systems challenge, and sometimes the best way to understand complex systems is to experience them. Games encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and problem-solving while making climate concepts engaging and accessible.
Expect zero technical jargon, concerned faces, or boring presentations. Instead, spend an evening playing three unique climate games, meeting like-minded people, and discovering new ways to think about climate solutions.
Games for the evening include:
A fun card game where your everyday choices turn into an emissions line. Compare lifestyles, challenge assumptions, and rethink your carbon footprint.
Climatch
It's Dobble but better! A fast-paced collaborative game where players connect different dots to uncover surprising links within the climate system.
Can an entire city transition to clean energy before time runs out? In this collaborative board game, players take on the roles of engineers, policymakers, entrepreneurs, activists, and journalists to transform a city's energy system. Balance budgets, public opinion, grid reliability, and climate goals while navigating real-world trade-offs of the energy transition.
Dirt Rich
An interactive game that demystifies composting and turns food waste into a hands-on lesson in circularity and climate action.
