CivicTechBrampton 24th Meetup featuring Ottawa CivicTech
Ottawa Civic Tech (#YOWCT) strengthens the community of people in Ottawa who build civic good. We bring together people in policy and technology to solve tough problems and make our communities better.
Guest Speaker:
Max Peacock, Ottawa CivicTech. Check out their website here: https://www.ottawacivictech.ca/
The three projects presented will be the Ward 13 Community Asset Map, the Tech Meets World conference, and Commons Fabric.
Learn about the Civic Tech movement from different cities. Can we adopt some of the ideas for the city of Brampton?
Inviting all technologists, students, and citizens interested in working on Civic Tech projects.
New to Civic Tech? You are definitely welcome! We will all be learning from each other. Just knowing what projects people are working on sparks ideas about new civic tech projects. There will be opportunities to network, and pitch your own project to interested volunteers.
