Session Overview

Success in entrepreneurship isn’t just about what you know—it’s about who you know and how you engage with them. The best opportunities often come from unexpected connections, yet most people approach networking as a transaction rather than a catalyst for meaningful relationships.

In this interactive session, you’ll learn how to create your own “excuses to connect,” turning casual conversations into career-defining moments. Whether you struggle with networking or want to refine your approach, you’ll walk away with practical strategies to build relationships that accelerate your entrepreneurial journey.

Who Will You Hear From?

A TEDx speaker and co-author, he helps individuals and organizations overcome barriers like social anxiety and workplace silos to build meaningful relationships. Richard also teaches at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology and Rhodes Wellness College. Certified in Emotional Intelligence (EQ-i 2.0) and Trust at Work®, he combines research-backed insights with practical strategies to enhance trust, engagement, and collaboration.
