OpenAI Student Collective x Innovate
Have an idea for a startup, a campus project, or something you wish existed? Come turn it into a first prototype.
Join the OpenAI Student Collective at Virginia Tech and Innovate LLC for a hands-on workshop exploring how AI can help you develop an idea, plan what to build, and bring a first version to life.
We’ll start with a short live demonstration, then give you time to work individually or with a partner. You’ll get help along the way and finish with an opportunity to share what you made.
By the end, you’ll have:
• A clear problem and audience for your idea
• A first prototype or mockup
• A short pitch and next steps for improving it
All majors and experience levels are welcome. No prior coding experience is required.
Bring a laptop, charger, and an idea or choose one at the workshop.
Led by Sabal & Lucas, OpenAI Student Collective Campus Lead at Virginia Tech.
