Western Sydney Local LLM Club
Join developers and small business owners in Blacktown to explore how local AI can save time, reduce costs, strengthen data security and create new sources of revenue.
Through lightning talks and discussion, we’ll look at automating business workflows, building useful AI products and delivering services customers will pay for. Bring a business challenge or an idea you’d like to develop.
Our group began in Melbourne. We’re restarting in Sydney to connect developers and business owners who want to share experience, find collaborators and build something valuable together.
Local AI on everyday hardware
We’ll explore what you can do on an iPhone, laptop or Mac mini: from small models running on the device itself to agents that route tasks to the right model or tool. We’ll look at setups that fit your hardware and the work you need to do.
Practical applications include private document processing, offline app features and assistants connected to ERP or internal tools. We’ll discuss what can stay on your hardware, where cloud services help, and how to turn these setups into useful products and paid services.
