“ Blueprints of Nature”: A Cyanotype Sunprint, Tea Blending & Sound Journey
Join Herbalist + Multidisciplinary Healer Allie Brown, for "Blueprints of Nature": an immersive Cyanotype + Herbal Tea Blending workshop.
Participants will leave with a Cyanotype print or textile cloth, and an Herbal Tea Infusion blend, inspired by the energetics of the Summer season.
Allie will provide locally foraged plants and flowers from Tongva Land to Cyanotype. We will also venture on a neighborhood walk and forage additional local flora. Bring personal objects, if you would like to further personalize your print (ie jewelry, crystals, etc).
Cyanotype is an early cameraless photographic process that uses sunlight, water, and photosensitive iron salts to create distinctive Prussian blue prints. Symbolizing intuition, depth, expression, and transformation, this process invites you to harness the power of the sun and water to explore your inner creativity.
Craft an Herbal Tea Infusion, to support the body + nervous system during the warm summer season. Allie will guide us in a Meditation with Sound Healing instruments for grounding + expansion.
Offerings include:
Cyanotype Textile Print
Herbal Tea Infusion Crafting
Guided Sound Meditation
Herbal Tea Infusions will be served to keep you cool and inspired.
Led by Multidisciplinary Healing Artist, Allie Brown.
