Touch Grass #03: Mount Finlayson

​An informal weekly hike with people from around Tenfold. There is no programming. We walk for a few hours and talk about whatever comes up.

​Meet here

​We meet at the Goldstream day-use parking area off the Trans-Canada Highway, near the Visitor Centre. The drive from downtown takes about 25 minutes.

​The climb is steady the whole way, with minor rock scrambling near the summit and views in every direction from the top. We take the loop clockwise, which is easier and safer on the descent.

​Bring

​Wear decent shoes. Bring water, layers for the weather, and any snacks you want. Trails around Victoria can get muddy and slippery from October through December.

​We post weather, route, and access changes before each hike in the Tenfold community Discord. If you register and cannot make it, please update your RSVP so nobody waits for you in the parking lot.

​This is a community-organized hike. There is no guide and no outdoor program. Know your limits and look after yourself and each other.
