About Event

The Cycle, the Stress, the Science is an educational, conversation-centered event exploring the powerful connection between hormones, menstruation, and stress—and how they shape our daily lives more than we often realize.

From fluctuating estrogen and progesterone levels to the role of cortisol and the nervous system, this discussion breaks down the science behind the menstrual cycle and explains how chronic stress can disrupt hormonal balance, impact cycle regularity, worsen PMS symptoms, and influence mood, energy, sleep, and overall well-being. We’ll unpack what’s normal, what’s commonly misunderstood, and why many menstrual concerns are often minimized or misattributed.

This event is for all women in their 20s and 30s, across New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania, regardless of where you are in your wellness journey. Whether you’re navigating career stress, life transitions, relationship changes, or simply trying to better understand your body, this space is designed to meet you where you are.

Designed to be informative yet approachable, this session bridges science and lived experience. Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of how the body responds to stress across the menstrual cycle, why symptoms may change from month to month, and how greater hormonal awareness can support better self-advocacy and care. Whether you’re looking to learn, feel validated, or simply better understand your body, this space invites curiosity, clarity, and connection—grounded in evidence, not stigma.

You’ll leave with:

  • A foundational understanding of hormonal cycles and stress physiology

  • Insight into how stress can influence menstrual health and symptoms

  • Language and knowledge to better interpret what your body is signaling

  • A more compassionate, science-backed framework for menstrual health

This is not medical advice—this is education, empowerment, community and an open conversation grounded in science.
