NEURODIVERGENCE 101: Building high performing teams
Is Your 'High-Performing' Team Secretly Burning Out?
Unlock True Psychological Safety and Retention.
You see the signs: the sudden emotional outbursts, the quiet team member who's disengaged, the missed deadlines that lead to shame and isolation. These aren't character flaws: they are the predictable costs of a work environment designed for only one "neurotypical" style of brain.
Join Neurodivergence 101 to move past buzzwords and develop genuine neurological/psychological power skills. We will demystify what neurodivergence truly is (a natural variation of mental functioning) and tackle the 4 core frictions at work: Sensory Overload, Masking, Sociality and Impulsivity.
Learn to see 'difficulties' as 'challenges' you can solve.
Leave with a practical Low Friction Toolkit covering communication, feedback (specific and behavioral), and processes to create an environment where everyone can show up as their authentic, most productive self.
What You’ll Learn
1. Neurowhat?
What Neurodivergence Really Is, and How It Manifests in the Workplace (Challenges and Benefits).
2. Frame and analyze
Whether you are a team member or a team leader, your observations are the starting point to changing the dynamics.
3. A toolkit for monitoring and taking action
Apply a ready-to-use toolkit in your workplace and use a workshop format to engage your team in co-designing better conditions.
How It Works
• 90-Minute Live Session (Online): A fast-paced, highly interactive session. Be prepared to participate.
• Bring Your Real Challenges: Ahead of the session, observe your work environment or social connections and make note of all the friction points that bother you or other members of the team (the way meetings are scheduled or handled, the way the space is organised, the rituals of the office etc). We will work on them during the course.
• Interactive Q&A: Ask questions throughout. We will use hybrid models of communication (introvert-friendly).
