Join a dynamic and creative workshop with passionate campaigners and activists to strategize against the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) — the longest heated crude oil pipeline in the world.
EACOP is not just a local issue — it’s a global climate disaster. If built, it will:
Displace thousands of people from their land and livelihoods.
Threaten vital ecosystems, rivers, and Lake Victoria — a lifeline for over 40 million people.
Destroy wildlife habitats, endangering elephants, lions, and chimpanzees.
Generate over 34 million tons of CO₂ emissions every year — more than the annual emissions of Uganda and Tanzania combined.
Lock Africa into decades of fossil fuel dependency while the world urgently needs to phase out oil and gas.
Enrich one of the biggest oil corporations on the planet while pushing humanity deeper into climate breakdown.
This workshop is your chance to take action, learn from experts, and join a global movement to stop this destructive project. Briefings and resources will be provided so you can step up and do your part.
