🛋️ Join The Offline Club in the living room of Cologne's Belgischen Viertel for a slow Sunday afternoon of social reading and connection with other (wannabe) book lovers.
This reading party is for all types of literature: fantasy, non-fiction, poetry, print newspapers, love letters from your ex. 📚
And for all types of readers: those who read to relax 💆🏻♀️, to learn 🤓, to travel in faraway worlds ⛵, or to impress a new crush 🥰.
For humans who never stopped making time for books. And for humans who wish to fall in love with reading again.
But most importantly: this reading party is for all people who desire a slower routine with more connection... and less screen-time. 📵
What to expect:
📖 Peaceful (me-)time to read that book you keep meaning to start (or finish!)
😍 The chance to meet and connect with like-minded (wannabe) book lovers.

14:30 - 15:30 | Chat with others + (optional) connection game
15:30 - 16.00 | Soft closing & goodbyes

During this time, we will have die Wohngemeinschaft all to ourselves. 🛋️
This is your time to sit back and enjoy undistracted reading time. Slow down, recharge and feel the magic of reading alone, together. Please bring your own book, cartoon, or poetry bundle - we love all literature.
Chat with others + (optional) connection game
Chat & connect with others, but only if you feel like it. This is the time to meet new people, connect over books, and enjoy meaningful conversations. We create laid-back spaces where talking to strangers is the norm and connection is made easy. Feel free to come solo, or with friends.
There will be an (optional) connection game: a playful and easy-going opportunity to meet others and have inspiring book-talk with strangers.
Starting at 15:00, die Wohngemeinschaft will open it's doors to the public. We will continue to have half the space reserved to ourselves - but expect some lively buzz around us.
About your phone: Your phone will rest in our phone hotel, and we’ll be its body guards. But just so you know, if it magically disappears, learns to fly, or mysteriously breaks… The Offline Club can’t be held responsible.
In case of trust issues - you can also choose to turn it off and keep it hidden away, out of sight!
Refunds are not possible...
But! If you cancel at least 48 hours before the event, you can request a voucher to use toward a future event.
