UNCONFERENCE for everyone shaping AI: engineers, product, GTM and beyond.
This is a special edition of our Unconference, and it is a little different from our usual format.
The Unconference has always been a technical, engineer-first room. This time we are deliberately opening the doors wider: to everyone shaping AI, including engineers, ML practitioners, founders, product, and GTM, to spend an evening exchanging ideas, pressure-testing approaches, and going deep on the problems they are actually working on.
Unlike a traditional conference, there is no preset agenda and no speaker lineup. The sessions are proposed and shaped by the people in the room. Bring a question you are chewing on, a problem you are stuck on, something you have learned recently, or simply join a discussion that catches your attention.
Previous sessions have explored topics including:
Reliable AI-Assisted Software Development. Can AI-generated codebases stay secure, testable, and maintainable, and where does human architecture still matter?
AI Agent Orchestration. What does coordinating multiple agents actually look like, and how do we design systems that produce useful emergent behaviour?
AI Product Monetization. How do you price AI products when outcomes are hard to define, and why is the industry converging on a credits model?
Small Language Models. Where do smaller models (30B down to sub-4B) actually hold up, from on-device assistants to extracting data from long documents?
AI for Children’s Education. What does it take to make an AI product genuinely safe and child-appropriate before you ever acquire a user?
The event is curated for people who are actively working in AI, whether you are building the models, shipping the product, or taking it to market. The common thread is hands-on involvement with AI; the lens you bring, technical, product, or commercial, is what makes the room interesting. Conversations stay practical, specific, and useful.
Doors close at 5:30 PM sharp.
About your hosts
Merantix AI Campus: In the heart of Berlin, the Campus brings together 80+ AI teams and hosts 300+ events a year. Part of Merantix, it is a meeting point for founders, engineers, researchers, operators, industry leaders, and investors building the next generation of AI infrastructure and applications.
Hacker Room: A four-month residency at the AI Campus for technical builders working deeply on AI projects. It brings together engineers and researchers developing beyond the API layer in a collaborative environment outside the usual constraints of academia, accelerators, or company KPIs.
