A live game show for people who build on the web
EvolveDigital and Undefined are teaming up at Automattic's NoHo office ahead of EvolveDigital NYC, the two-day summit happening this coming November. This one's for the people who work on the website: comms and marketing teams, content strategists, designers, developers, and the digital leads holding it all together.
You'll play as one big group professionals, using your phone as a controller to answer questions about what you do. Think of it as a workshop masquerading as a comedy show. The whole point is to laugh and learn at the same time. It's funny because it's true!
Prompts like:
• A tech phrase that sounds smart but triggers me...
• A startup so bad it will definitely get funded...
• What nobody tells you about becoming senior...
Because no names are attached, people say things they'd never say at work. About the projects that quietly went sideways, the doubts they carry around, the parts of the job nobody admits are hard. And it turns out everyone in the room is carrying some version of the same thing. It's a genuinely nice feeling to discover that out loud, together, with people who get it.
Come as you are with nothing prepared. Grab some dinner on us and play. It's all included with your ticket. Food and drinks are provided by Evolving Web, the agency behind the EvolveDigital summit series. They build websites and digital platforms for higher ed, government, healthcare and non-profit teams, and they've been bringing this community together at events like this one for years.
