​The Power of The 2%

​We often speak about the less than 2% of investment going into women... but is this number really only in venture capital? Absolutely not.

​All of us have at some point felt part of the 2% in some circumstance, either personal or in business. So what does it feel like to navigate challenges in this reality? How does this affect the way you step into spaces and step into your power?

​We will chat with the inimitable Fátima Ginard, commercial pilot and flight instructor, part of Ellas Vuelan Alto, an association working to bring more women into aviation, and a mum navigating all of it at once. Aviation runs on numbers. Not far off the ones we quote in venture, so we will talk about what that 2% looks like from a cockpit.

​First, we start the morning with a fireside chat with Fátima with plenty of time for open dialogue and questions, followed by a sit down brunch together. The ticket includes the session and full dining experience.

​What is HER/O?

​The HER/O series was created in2024 for women in tech as a collaboration from HearstLab x Norrsken, as an open space to bring discussion, hard-hitting topics and a dose of inspiration.

​We run it because the rooms where capital and decisions move still rarely look like the ecosystem we say we want, and that only shifts if the space exists in the first place. Past editions have sat down with Eve Burton (HearstLab), Elisenda Bou-Balust (Co-Founder, Cala AI), Fiona Garvey (CEO, Softonic) and Patricia Aymà (Chairwoman, Benviro), alongside HER/O Day, our annual full-day edition that sold out with +170 women at the House.

​This event puts the closing note on unlock VC´s Barcelona summit´s Barcelona summit, 3-days bringing together female GPs, LPs, founders and operators from their global network.
