Mohammed Hanif: A Public Reading

​Join us for a conversation with author and journalist Mohammed Hanif. He will be reading from his latest novel “Rebel English Academy”, a poignant portrayal of the afterlife of political turmoil in 1970s Pakistan.  A masterful chronicler of politics and dissent, Hanif reflects on how movements gather force and reshape political possibility, and how collective memory is archived through literature.

​This is a free event, organised by Critical Pakistan and hosted by Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

​Location: The Lichthof Ost is located in Humboldt-Universität’s main building at Unter den Linden 6, 10117 Berlin.

​Due to current construction work, it is not accessible via the building's main entrance. From the courtyard gate at Unter den Linden 6, walk to the right through the courtyard to the side entrance. From there, you can access the Lichthof Ost directly.
