Through Her Eyes: Pause, Walk & Capture
Step away from your usual surroundings and spend an unhurried evening outdoors—walking, noticing and following whatever quietly catches your eye.
A Little More Light is a beginner-friendly photo and storytelling walk through the peaceful Gallop Extension of the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
Using your phone and a set of gentle visual prompts, you will photograph colours, textures, light, nature and heritage details that speak to you. At the end of the walk, you will select a few images and shape them into a short personal story to share with the group.
This is not a photography lesson. There are no technical settings to master and no pressure to produce impressive pictures.
Come for the evening light, gentle movement and the pleasure of noticing something that belongs entirely to your experience.

Things growing quietly
Familiar shapes
Details usually overlooked

We will remain outdoors and will not be visiting the galleries.

Choose three to five photographs from your walk. Arrange them into a small collection, give it a title and use the reflection prompts to uncover the story connecting them.
6:00pm — Sharing circle
Gather with the group and share your visual story, what surprised you and what you would like to remember. Sharing is warmly invited but never compulsory.
