THE HIVE | side-event to AI for Good Summit
While the AI for Good Global Summit unfolds at PalExpo (7–10 July 2026), the Young AI Leaders Community (YAIL), the Geneva Network of Innovators (ge-ni), and Geneva Macro Labs are co-hosting an evening side event at the SDG Solution Space, Campus Biotech. This is the community-driven evening of Summit week — a space where AI innovators, researchers, and advocates can gather, share, and continue the conversations after hours.
The format combines substance and conviviality. Doors open at 17h00 for welcome drinks and networking. At 17h30 we run a round of flash announcements, open to any YAIL hub, and at 17h50 a high-level panel brings together voices from the AI for Good community. From 18h45 the evening opens into an unconference: participants self-organise into breakout rooms around the topics they want to explore. A catered standing dinner follows at 20h00.
From 20h30, the rooftop opens for the afterparty, brought by our co-organiser Si Labs: a live DJ set — "Dance like an A.I." by The Stereoteller feat. FiloQ — and curated wine. It runs alongside "Brain Snacks" at 21h00: short, curiosity-driven share-outs from anyone who has a paper, tool, project, or idea they're excited about. The only rule: no sales pitches. Drift between the rooftop terrace and the ground floor as you like; at 22h00 the rooftop closes and we head back downstairs for the open floor.
The SDG Solution Space is a community-managed venue with live-streaming capabilities and cosy breakout spaces. We are deeply grateful for their in-kind support — which, together with our patrons ge-ni and Geneva Macro Labs and our afterparty partner Si Labs, lets us direct the evening budget toward catering, communications, and production.
A few practical notes: the Hive is free, and it's a separate, individual RSVP — no Summit badge required. Capacity is limited to around 60 in person, with hybrid participation for community members and friends who can't be in Geneva (the opening, announcements, and panel are planned to be streamed).
Tuesday 7 July 2026. Doors open at 17h00. The evening runs as long as the community wishes.
Welcome to the Hive.
