Join SMU Blockchain for a short, beginner friendly intro to decentralised tech, digital ownership and the Web3 industry. We will walk through how we got from Web1 to Web2 to Web3, the basics of how blockchains work, and why onchain assets, NFTs and smart contracts matter.
We will also share what SMU Blockchain does as a club, our curriculum tracks, and what you can expect if you join, from workshops and projects to hackathons and career opportunities.
This session is designed for complete beginners and for anyone who has dabbled in crypto and wants a clearer, more structured overview. Bring your questions and leave with a simple mental model of Web3 and how you can start getting involved.
