Sangre de Plata at CDMX Art Week

​Les invito a celebrar la inauguración de Sangre De Plata: una exhibición del legado de la Familia Orea el 6 de Febrero en la Casa de Cultura Emilio Carballido durante la semana de arte CDMX.

​Esta exhibición cuenta de una pintora y un poeta criados en Puebla. En su unión, sembraron raíces de creatividad – y se cultivó dando una generación de artistas.

​Ahora, esas artistas (7 nietos) se juntan para honrar a sus abuelos, Oswelia Orea Zafra y Felix Orea. Compartiendo espacio, arte, y sonido, se ofrece ver cómo las enseñanzas de los abuelos se manifestaron en las vidas y el ojo de cada miembro de la familia. Cada obra echa será un acto de agradecimiento al don que se alumbra entre esta familia de artistas.

​Sangre de Plata is a celebration exhibiting the legacy of the Orea family.

​This exhibition tells the story of a painter and a poet born and raised in Puebla, Mexico. In their union, they planted seeds of creativity - and their offering cultivated a generation of artists.

​Now, these artists (7 grandchildren) come together to honor their grandparents, Oswelia Orea Zafra and Felix Orea. Sharing space, art, and sound, the teachings passed down can be seen magnified in the life and lens of each member of the family. Each art piece is presented as an act of gratitude to the gift that shines in this family of artists.
