Crowdsource Choir: A Thriller Night
The night before Halloween, Crowdsource Choir is taking over Seattle’s historic Washington Hall for an all-ages celebration of Michael Jackson, Halloween, singing, dancing, and becoming the show.
And there may be no better room for it.
Built in 1908, Washington Hall has hosted an extraordinary lineage of artists and cultural icons, including Billie Holiday, Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Mahalia Jackson, Marian Anderson, and Seattle’s own Jimi Hendrix.
For one night, we’ll add our voices—and our moves—to that history.
We are the show.
We’ll sing our way through some of MJ’s biggest songs, building harmonies, rhythms, and a historic room-filling sound together.
Then comes “Thriller.”
Not only will we sing it as a choir—we’ll learn an abbreviated version of the legendary zombie dance together.
Leading the dance is Crowdsource Choir’s own Ken Nsimbi, quite possibly the world’s biggest Michael Jackson fan, who once taught the “Thriller” dance to 5,000 people aboard a cruise ship.
Now it’s your turn.
Come dressed up. Bring the kids. Bring your friends. Bring someone who claims they “can’t sing or dance.” No singing or dance experience is required.
Just show up ready to go all in!
