βCryptoMondays Houston returns for its third event, back in person at a beautiful historic venue in the Heights. This is a free, public event, open to everyone.
βThis session tackles a problem every digital asset platform runs into: identity verification is fragmented. Every platform, every jurisdiction, and every asset class tends to require its own KYC process, forcing investors to re-prove who they are over and over, and forcing platforms to maintain multiple redundant vendor relationships just to cover different regions.
βWe'll look at how on-chain identity standards, including ONCHAINID, the identity protocol most widely used in tokenized real-world asset markets today, are trying to solve that.
βWho should attend: Institutional investors, compliance and risk professionals, digital-asset operators, and anyone thinking about how identity verification and regulatory compliance work in tokenized asset markets.
βHost: Adam Doerr Founder, Doerr Company. Business Development Advisor at RedSwan Digital Real Estate. Founder of CryptoMondays Houston.
βDiscussion Topics: The identity fragmentation problem, illustrated with real-world examples of platforms running multiple KYC vendors by region
βWhat ONCHAINID is and how it works, built on the ERC-734 and ERC-735 standards Self-sovereign identity vs. custodial KYC, who controls the data and where it lives
βWhere the technology still has gaps: privacy, cost, and vendor dependency How identity verification intersects with sanctions screening and evolving compliance rules
βThis will be an educational, conceptual discussion not investment advice or a solicitation of any specific product or offering.
