August Book Club Meet-Up (Saturday, 1st August)
Our next book club meet-up is this Saturday, 1st August at Tomoca Restaurant from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Since most of our book club members will be joining us for The Social Tribe Party on 22nd August, we’ll be learning a fun Afro-Latin dance choreography at our next meet-up.
The choreography will be performed together at the party creating a synchronized experience where everyone moves as one and shares in the energy of the moment.
What's The Social Tribe Party?
The Social Tribe Party is our quarterly community celebration where members from The Social Tournament, Social Friday, The Social Book Club, and Dance Factory Kenya come together for a celebration of community, culture and connection.
The next Social Tribe Party is on 22nd August.
We’ll have three zones designed for connection at the party:
Dance Party Zone: A high-energy celebration of music, movement, and culture. Expect DJs spinning across different genres, and a dance floor filled with people letting loose, sharing the moment, and creating unforgettable memories together.
Game Zone: A lively space packed with interactive party games designed to spark laughter, friendly competition, and effortless conversations.
Conversation Zone: A relaxed social space featuring thoughtfully curated conversation prompts, discussion topics, and debate starters that encourage meaningful conversations, fresh perspectives, and genuine connections.
Book Club Meet-Up Details
When: Saturday, 1st August
Where: Tomoca Coffee, Rubis Lavington (James Gichuru Road)
Time: 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Meet-Up Cost: 1,500 KES (Inclusive of lunch, book swap, and dance class)
Event Schedule:
1:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. I Book discussions and group conversations.
2:30 p.m. I Lunch buffet will be served.
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. I Dance choreography.

Select Paybill.

Add your name as the account number.
Enter amount: 1,500 KES.
Confirm "THE SOCIAL TRIBE EVENTS" as the business name.
Send the payment.
If you'd like to join us, please ensure that you complete the payment before midnight on Friday. That's the deadline for payment.
