🔸 Part 1: OpenRouter, Live
Every model lab ships its own API, its own SDK, and its own outages. OpenRouter puts 400+ models from dozens of providers behind one endpoint and one key: point the OpenAI SDK at a different base URL and the same code now reaches Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, DeepSeek, and whatever shipped this morning. It routes each request to the most cost-effective provider, fails over automatically when one goes down, and its "latest" aliases mean your app picks up the newest flagship without a redeploy. As of this month, video models sit behind the same API.
Carlos designs the product from the inside. He'll show it running on real requests, live, and what building looks like when your app stops depending on a single vendor.
🔸 Part 2: "Bringing the Heat: Supercharging Your ML Pipelines with HuggingFace"
The Hugging Face Hub has made foundation models easy to reach. Getting from an experimental notebook to a rigorous, production-grade deployment is still real engineering. Muntaser goes deep on the Hugging Face ecosystem: end-to-end ML workflows that scale from constrained edge devices to multi-GPU clusters, using the full stack (accelerate, peft, and optimum) for parameter-efficient fine-tuning, strict evaluation metrics, and faster inference. Whether you run massive cloud pipelines or ship quantized models to the edge, you leave with a framework for treating AI as robust, scalable engineering rather than an API call. Muntaser is a researcher, practitioner, and developer working in ML and AI across industry and academia.
🔸 Part 3: "DreamForge: Personalized AI Video Games"
DreamForge is an AI video game generator and gaming platform for personalized story adventure games. John and Amar will work with the audience to create a custom game that includes audience members as characters and covers topics the group brainstorms together, live. You'll see generative AI in action across many different media types, with every generated asset represented cohesively in a single, playable game. John is a lifetime video game developer who previously founded Strange Loop Games, the studio behind Eco. Amar is a startup operator who was most recently on the founding team of WayTrade, a biofuels tech startup.

The Wolfson Campus center in downtown Miami was built on the analogy of a human brain: Deep Thinking computer classrooms on one side, flexible and creative spaces for hands-on learning on the other.
