PA’s Guide to Bioethics in Healthcare AI
PA's Guide to Bioethics in Healthcare AI by Nguyen Park, PA-C provides a practical introduction to the ethical use of artificial intelligence in clinical practice for physician associates/assistants. The session explores how AI can enhance patient care while emphasizing that clinicians must maintain professional judgment, protect patient privacy, recognize algorithmic bias, ensure transparency, and uphold the core principles of bioethics such as autonomy, beneficence, nonmaleficence, and justice. The goal is to help PAs integrate AI responsibly as a clinical support tool rather than a replacement for human decision-making.
