​August ILN Roundtable: Agent Identities in Production. What’s Your Real Number?

Every identity team is being asked how it will govern AI agents. But before you can govern them, you need to know how many are already running in your environment, who created them and who owns them.

That is where this roundtable starts.

The topic came directly from the ILN community. One member asked how many agent identities others are managing in production, while agent governance was the most requested discussion in the member intake survey.

This will be an open comparison of what identity teams are seeing in practice. You do not need to arrive with a perfect number. Come ready to share what you know, how close you are to finding the answer and what is making the task difficult.

We will discuss:

• ​Where these identities are being created and why they are often missed.

• ​Who owns them today and where responsibility is unclear.

• ​How teams are beginning to bring them under control.

• ​Whether agents should be governed like employees, applications or something different.
