About Event
This series of field trips is being organised by Green Kite to help people connect with the many interesting environmental, biodiversity and community initiatives taking place around Dún Laoghaire.
David Lawlor from Green Ocean Project will bring you on a short boat trip to visit the Oyster Garden in DL Harbour, where more than 18,000 native oysters are helping to restore marine biodiversity and filter 3.4 million litres of water a day. Cleaner water allows more sunlight to reach the seabed, supporting seagrass, seaweed and wider marine life across the harbour.
