Foto Walk 2026 - Basel, CH

​A photo walk, hosted by your local Foto community host. We meet, we walk, we make photos together, no likes or followers involved.

​What to expect

​You'll spend about two hours walking through the city with other photographers from the Foto community. Along the way, you'll make photos, take portraits of each other, and talk to people who notice the same light you do.

This year's theme is contrast. Light against shadow, old against new, whatever catches your eye and won't let it go. Designed for both local photographers and visitors, the walk offers a visual journey and plenty of opportunities to capture architecture, street scenes, details, people and unexpected perspectives along the way.

​The walk ends at a set point, for those who want with a coffee and further chats afterward. No experience needed. Bring any camera you own, phone included.
