[Interactive] Usability Testing Clinic
What are we actually testing? I'm glad that people have been sharing their research plans in group crits, whether it's for discovery or for usability tests. I've noticed that a lot of the metrics are only quantitative or shallow. If you have had tests where the qualifier for success sounds something like, "Users can complete x task" without connecting it to the original user/job to be done, this may be a session for you.
Note that this event won't provide a template or a checklist; rather, this workshop is meant to help change the way we think about usability tests.
Please be sure to have a usability test and/or questions ready for this session. I will not be providing examples; I just know that I've seen usability tests recently where we had good discussions.
