eWaste Warriors: Reboot Hour (2nd Edition) – Drinks, Networking & Device Donation

Ready to be an eWaste Warrior? Join us for our monthly Reboot Hour – where good vibes meet great impact!

We're on a mission to tackle the growing e-waste crisis, one device at a time. Every year, 62 million tons of electronic waste are generated globally, but together we can change that story. This isn't just another networking event – it's your chance to make a real difference while connecting with like-minded changemakers in the DMV area.

🔋 BRING A DEVICE, SAVE THE PLANET

Here's where YOU become the hero: Bring any unused electronic device and give it a second life! We're talking:

  • Smartphones (even that cracked iPhone in your drawer)

  • Tablets (iPads, Android tablets, e-readers)

  • Laptops (working or not – we can work magic!)

  • Any other electronic device collecting dust

Don't have a device? No problem! Bring a friend's device, your family's old tech, or that gadget your neighbor mentioned wanting to get rid of. Every device donated helps reduce toxic e-waste and keeps precious materials in circulation!

👥 DOUBLE THE IMPACT: BRING A FRIEND!

Challenge accepted? Bring a friend AND bring a device (or better yet – bring a friend who brings a device!). The more eWaste Warriors we have, the bigger impact we make. Plus, saving the planet is always more fun with friends!

🌍 WHY IT MATTERS

When you donate your device, you're not just decluttering – you're:

  • Preventing toxic materials from ending up in landfills

  • Recovering precious metals like gold, silver, and rare earth elements

  • Giving someone else access to affordable, refurbished technology

  • Reducing the demand for new device manufacturing

  • Fighting climate change one device at a time

📱 DEVICE DONATION MADE EASY

Before you come:

  • Back up any important data

  • Sign out of all accounts

  • Factory reset your device

  • Remove SIM cards and SD cards

  • Make sure the device is fully unlocked

Don't worry if you need help with any of these steps – our team will be there to guide you through the process!

🎉 WHAT TO EXPECT

This is a casual, no-pressure gathering where passionate people come together to network, learn, and make an impact. Expect:

  • Relaxed networking with fellow eWaste Warriors

  • Device donation and intake

  • Updates on our mission and impact

  • Ways to get more involved

  • Good vibes and great conversations

  • Light refreshments

🚀 JOIN THE MOVEMENT

We're not just collecting devices – we're building a community of changemakers who believe technology should serve people and planet. Whether you're a tech professional, environmental advocate, student, or just someone who cares about our future, you belong here.

Remember: Every device donated is a victory against e-waste. Every friend you bring multiplies our impact. Every conversation started here ripples out to create more change.

After all, we're eWaste Warriors – and warriors fight together! 💪
