Uplift Mentorship Peer Discussion 5

​One of the hardest parts of building a startup is seeing your business through your customer's eyes. In this workshop, you'll practice your customer discovery muscle by asking your peers to temporarily become your customer.

​In breakout groups of 2–3, each founder will briefly share what they're building. The rest of the group will respond from the perspective of a potential customer:

• ​I'd buy if...

• ​I wouldn't buy because...

• ​I still don't understand...

• ​I'd tell a friend...

​The goal isn't to decide whether your customers are "right"—they won't always be. The goal is to hear what they heard, what resonated, what created confusion, and what gave them pause. Those reactions are incredibly valuable, especially at the idea and MVP stage.
