Team-Up #2: Alumni Mix Networking

Alumni Mix Networking

Join alumni and friends from CSTU, Tsinghua University, and Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT) for an inspiring afternoon of networking, AI discussions, and collaboration.

As generative AI continues to transform every industry, we’ll explore practical applications of today’s AI technologies, why AI systems make mistakes or hallucinate, and effective strategies for identifying and correcting AI-generated errors. Participants are encouraged to share experiences, exchange ideas, and discuss emerging AI trends, startup opportunities, and career development.

Featured Guest Speaker

Dr. Tongping Liu
Founder • Tenure-Ditching Entrepreneur • Harbin Institute of Technology Alumnus

Keynote:
Beyond AI Coding: The Hidden Cost of AI-Generated Code

AI coding tools can write code at remarkable speed, but debugging their subtle, system-level failures can stall engineering teams for weeks.

In this keynote, Dr. Liu will explore the growing technical debt created by AI-generated code and why today’s development workflow often struggles with elusive failures such as out-of-memory crashes, race conditions, memory corruption, and non-deterministic bugs. He will also introduce a new generation of AI Infrastructure that helps developers automatically diagnose, reproduce, and resolve these complex failures, making AI-assisted software development more reliable, scalable, and production-ready.

Drawing from his journey from academia to entrepreneurship, Dr. Liu will also share why he chose to leave a tenured professorship to build technologies that tackle some of the hardest infrastructure challenges in the AI era.

Whether you’re an entrepreneur building AI products, an engineer using AI coding assistants, a technical leader managing software teams, or simply curious about the future of AI development, this session offers practical insights into one of the biggest engineering challenges created by generative AI.

The keynote will be followed by open networking and discussions on AI innovation, entrepreneurship, and future collaboration opportunities.

Whether you’re a student, entrepreneur, engineer, researcher, or AI enthusiast, this event offers an excellent opportunity to expand your network, discover new ideas, and connect with people shaping the future of AI.
