Pacific Foundry: Discussion Group
Pacific Foundry brings together people who build hard things. Founders and operators in defense, space, and advanced manufacturing, the acquisition and policy side of the government table, and the investors funding the industrial base underneath all of it. We started in Southern California. The Discussion Group is our standing seat at the table in Washington.
How it works
Each session is built around a topic. Ahead of time we share the material that anchors it: sometimes a book, sometimes a current event, sometimes a question the last conversation left unfinished. Topics rotate, but the ground stays consistent: advanced manufacturing, space, national security, and the larger strategy questions sitting behind them.
Occasionally a guest will open the conversation, off the record. Most nights the room carries it.
This is not a conference. There is no stage, no panel, and no badge. Just a living room, drinks in hand, and the conversation that usually starts after the panel ends.
The Discussion Group is a guild within Pacific Foundry Trade Association, a 501(c)(6)
