💛 Community-Exclusive | Afternoon at Pierre Boulez Saal
Registration is a 2-step process (both steps required, please read below)
On March 22, we’re gathering for a special community afternoon at one of Berlin’s most remarkable music spaces: Pierre Boulez Saal. Founded by Daniel Barenboim and designed by Frank Gehry, this intimate, ellipse-shaped concert hall was created for deep listening — not distraction, not background noise, but presence.
Their motto says it best: “Music for the Thinking Ear.”
Sounds that invite attention, curiosity, and reflection.
We’ll step out of the everyday digital world and into a shared cultural experience together. 💛
The afternoon begins with an exclusive guided tour for the Offline Club Berlin community, followed by a live concert with mezzo-soprano Alice Coote and pianist Julius Drake, two acclaimed artists known for their emotional honesty and stylistic versatility.
Expect an atmosphere of warmth and community – in a space where listening becomes a collective experience.

🎼 About the concert (4:00 PM)
“Music is the ultimate boundary breaker,” says Alice Coote, so why are we still performing and experiencing it in tightly sealed genres or categories? Why are we being so divisive with music?
In her recital with pianist Julius Drake, the English mezzo-soprano explores uncharted paths and presents a kaleidoscopic program highlighting multiple traditions, eras, and styles from Handel to Joni Mitchell.
“For this concert, we have tried to juxtapose works that say some of the things that we possibly all feel, irrespective of ‘genre.’”
Expect the unexpected!
