Regen Commons May Community Call
Welcome back to Regen Commons!
It's been a while since we've been in touch, and here's the truth ~ we've been doing the slow, deep thinking and careful work of building foundations to set the Commons up for success. The experiential paradigm, governance architecture, membership frameworks, contribution protocols, and the visual and cultural language of the Commons are coming into being. We're bringing the Commons to life and enrolling the community is the next step in preparing to welcome our first member cohort.
Now, we're ready to gather.
What we've been building
Over the past five months we've been developing a clearer understanding of what Regen Commons can be, practically, and the systems that will govern how it grows and sustains itself, stewarding cultural, intellectual, and ecological assets in ways that protect their legitimacy and generate shared value for contributors and communities. That has meant establishing coherence around how members join, how contributions flow, and what it means to hold regenerative work in common, in a way that will work across diverse needs. This call is where we start putting it into practice with you.
About this call
This is our first community call, a reconnection and an orientation to where things are at in this moment. We'll share an update from the steward council, walk through our intentions for the next phase of membership, and open space for dialogue.
This invitation is going out to everyone who has been part of the Regen Commons journey ~ registered members and those newer to our community. Wherever you're coming from, you're welcome on this call.
The first cohort is forming now. If you've already registered, you'll receive a direct invitation. If you're unsure of your status, or would like to be considered, reach out to a steward. Future cohorts will open seasonally as the Commons grows.
The invitation
Before the call, come curious. What in the Commons might already be useful to you? What connections or knowledge would make your work easier?
And chances are, you're already tending something that others in this Commons need. Bring that too.
We're glad to be gathering again.
