Rhiannon is Counsel at Parlee McLaws LLP and Co-Lead of the firm’s highly regarded Intellectual Property & Innovation Group. With a background in neuroscience research and a passion for helping innovators succeed, she combines technical insight with practical guidance to support clients in developing strong IP strategies.

​She works closely with start-ups and growing companies across a wide range of industries, including life sciences, technology, medical devices, clean tech, consumer products, and industrial sectors, helping them understand their current and potential IP and build a roadmap for protecting their innovations. Rhiannon also serves on the Board of BioAlberta, contributing to the growth and success of Alberta’s innovation ecosystem.

Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO)
Caroline Lefebvre has been part of the Intellectual Property Awareness and Education team with the Intellectual property advisor for the Canadian Intellectual Property Office (CIPO) since 2007. As such, she raises awareness, informs and trains various groups, such as entrepreneurs, inventors, professors and students on the importance of an adequate intellectual protection.

​In her capacity as an IP Advisor, she built a strong network of contacts, with federal, provincial and regional organizations. She is also passionate about discussing the strategic value of IP with creators, artists, students, entrepreneurs and innovators.
