AI Career Guidance: Which AI path is actually right for you?
About the Event
Most professionals today know AI is the direction. But when it comes to actually making a move, the path forward feels unclear. Should you do a bootcamp? An online course? A postgraduate programme? Build projects on your own?
AI Career Guidance is Masters' Union's focused session series for working professionals who are serious about building in AI but still figuring out which path actually fits their situation. As part of the next edition, we are hosting Which AI path is actually right for you?
This session will walk through an honest map of the four serious options available to someone trying to build real AI capability – what each one is designed for, where each one breaks down, and how to identify which one matches where you actually want to go.
Led by Divyashish Jindal, IIT Delhi alumnus and ex-Amazon, this session will help professionals cut through the noise and make a grounded decision about their next move – without the usual pitch.
In this session we'll cover:
The four paths to an AI career and the specific situations where each one works – and where each one breaks
How to identify whether your goal is a skill upgrade or a full identity shift as an engineer or professional
What the market actually looks like right now for different profiles and transition types
Why the path matters as much as the decision – and how to avoid the most common mismatch
Who is this session for?
This session is designed for working professionals – engineers, analysts, and tech professionals – who are clear that AI is the direction but still working out which path actually fits their situation, timeline, and career goals. It is particularly relevant for people who have been putting off the decision and want a straight, honest conversation rather than a sales pitch.
