3RD ST CREATIVE ARTERY is thrilled to welcome long-time gallerist GEORGE KREVSKY as the featured speaker for the next installment of our ON-SITE INSIGHTS series.
George Krevsky began in the art business in San Francisco in 1978, and spent 22 years directing the George Krevsky Gallery, from 1992 to 2014 at 77 Geary Street. For decades 77 Geary and 49 Geary were the premier contemporary art hubs of downtown San Francisco. Located just off Union Square and just off the northernmost end of 3RD ST, this single block served as the anchor for the entire San Francisco commercial gallery scene.
Over the decades, George has worked with many Bay Area artists, among them Lawrence Ferlinghetti. For 25 years George collaborated with and presented Ferlinghetti’s visual artwork.
Join us in-person to hear George’s insights, on-site about ADRIFT artist Lawrence Ferlinghetti’s work and their relationship—as we sit amongst some of Lawrence’s large, nautical-themed paintings. George also represented the work of DRY-DOCKED artist Stacey Carter and will talk about their collaboration as well.
George will be in conversation with MATT GONZALEZ co-founder of Roborant Review, an online platform for long-form contemporary art reviews and interviews. Matt is a collage artist represented by Dolby Chadwick, and a friend of both George and Lawrence for many years.

• 7:15 pm: Conversation begins.
• 7:15pm-8:30-ish: Moderated conversation, followed by Q&A.
• Guests are invited to linger after the talk to connect with other artists and attendees.
