KINETIC ROOTS: Day 1
PART 1.
The Body of the Past
The body exists in the present while carrying traces of time already lived. Images and objects call up the past; the body walks, looks, repeats and transforms, moving between past and present.
About the Work
Home is not a fixed place, but a space that continues to be created through the time and memories we have lived through, and through the relationships we form with the people we meet along the way.
Bodies and sounds originating from different places and times follow the sensations of movement and memory, departure and staying.
Body and object, music and poetry look at the same journey through different languages.
Through beings who move with memories of the past, form relationships in unfamiliar spaces, stay for a while, and then leave again, the work asks questions about the places where we stay and the relationships we create.
