​This roundtable is on the topic of "Unequal distribution of climate harms: the international climate legal framework, loss and damage and their financial underpinnings".

​Dr David Rossati (Vrije University Amsterdam) and Catriona Flesher (University of Leeds) will discuss their research on the concept of Loss & Damage from different perspectives.

​Questions we will cover include: How did we end up with the current system on Loss & Damage? What are the governance issues of the financial arrangements underpinning Loss & Damage projects? How is the concept delimitated in law and what does that mean for affected communities around the world?
