Resistance Sunday: Sewing Patches & Knitting Red Hats
3377* is the code to get in!!
Spend an afternoon at Sew It Together’s studio sewing, knitting, and crafting as acts of resistance. This open-house–style gathering centers creativity, skill-sharing, and collective making. Come by anytime throughout the afternoon!
Activism Patches
A variety of activism patch designs will be available for purchase, with proceeds supporting mutual aid groups. Sewing machines will be set up so patches can be sewn directly onto your own clothing! Please bring a garment you’d like to customize. Patches, machines, thread, and guidance will be provided.
Knitting / Crafting Red Hats
Also in the space: red hat making. This hands-on activity draws from a long history of red headwear as a symbol of resistance, solidarity, and refusal. From peasant uprisings and labor struggles to feminist movements and street protest, red hats have marked moments when people chose visibility over silence.
Come stitch, decorate, and design a hat that reflects your politics, your creativity, and your presence.
Whether you’re organizing, curious, or just ready to make something bold with your hands, you’re invited. Resistance is learned. Solidarity is made. Hats & fashion help.
